ABOUT THE SCHOOL

OPRA GIRLS SEC.SCHOOL is a new secondary found in Dar Es Salaam City in Tanzania that has a vision of creating a generation of talented young ladies who will excell academically and eventually become future leaders and succesful women in their various endeavors. The school believes that young ladies can become most succesful if given proper education and inspiring guidance under great care and protection against winds and waves that usually sweeps most of young ladies visions at early ages. A school bears a name of a great and most succesful woman in the world OPRA GAIL WINFREY  (born January 29, 1954) who is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist.Winfrey is best known for her multi-award-winning talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show, which was the highest-rated program of its kind in history and was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. she has been ranked the richest African-American of the 20th century. She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world.
